WEDDING LOCATION

Over the past few years, our bouquets have found their way to Greece, Jamaica, Spain,

France, Lapland and even Gracelands (yes, Elvis's home).  Should your wedding be abroad,

the bouquets created using foam flowers and or crystals, are VERY light weight.  Thus

resolving one logistical problem  as they can easily be carried aboard as hand luggage. 

We are always delighted to help out at the last minute if possible.  The latest example

of this being four bouquets one hair piece and a button hole, all on the morning of the

wedding, which was to be held on the shore of beautiful Lake Taupo New Zealand!

Being in the right place at the right time certainly helped with that one.

CRYSTALS

Crystal bouquets are a speciality of ours and are created using Swarovski crystals.

Sometimes diamantes and mirrored filigree and beads are used, or a combination of various

products, but  any crystals used are always Swarovski.  When the sun hits the crystals, the

proverbial fireworks display begins!

TRADITION

Should the bride wish to uphold the tradition of throwing a bouquet over her shoulder, an

inexspensive (non crystal) posy may be designed with this in mind.

BALLOONS 

We, at Collectables are also trained balloon decorators and annually update our skills at

balloon seminars and the like. By nature helium balloons have a short life span, approximately

one day or even less.  By the use of an inexpensive teatment, we can make your balloon

bouquets fly from 2 to 4 WEEKS.  The  bridal party at the top table look stunning, framed by

either a colour co-ordinated string of pearls arch, or three cloud nines linked with tulle.

PLEASE NOTE   IT IS EXTREMELY  DANGEROUS TO SIP HELIUM.  

The funny voice, comes from the voice box being partially closed reducing air intake to the lungs.  FATAL if closed completey!

for balloon work on and off site.

FSB  membership since 1999. The largest  and most respected small business organisation

in the UK. Maggie, the proprietor of Collectables is a former vice-chair(person)

South East Hants Branch and a former member of the following FSB committees,

Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight. Also the Wessex Region.  Regional membership at

that time, being around 9000.  Stepping down from all committees to further expand the

business in 2004.

We are very experienced in decorating many of the Royal Naval Bases in the

Portsmouth,Gosport and Fareham area.

service to include Spit Bank Fort.  Unfortunately, the cost of the ferry means that we cannot

include the Isle of Wight.
